CORE TEAM

For over 20 years, our team members have collaborated to generate value for large corporations, SMBs and start-ups.

Don't try to resolve symptoms, find the root causes.

Antonio C. Papalardo

The founder of Papalardo & Associates, Antonio built a reputation throughout his career for handing difficult projects and delivering outstanding results.  He began his career in Human Resources at General Motors in where from an early age he was identified as a "high-potential" candidate within the organization, for his strategic vision and problem solving skills.

At age 30 he took on his first major project as CIO for General Motors, and was responsible for the implementation of all systems in a new manufacturing plant..

He then transitioned to outsourcing of services, where he was responsible for founding and growing the business for EDS and IBM leading hundreds of projects.

When large projects ran into trouble, Antonio was called upon to rescue them and turn them around.  The most notable examples are EDS's Barcelona 1992 Olympic project, a 3 year project which was a year behind schedule and incurring in significant losses, recovering IBM's largest outsourcing project in Latin America, and turning around one of Brazil's largest IT services company, preparing it for an IPO.

Antonio founded a consulting business in 2006, focusing on business turn around for large corporations, SMBs and start-ups.  As the business grew, Antonio began calling upon his experienced former team members, and Papalardo & Associates was formed.

A hands-on leader, he participates actively in all of the team projects, all of which are directly and exclusively run by either him or one of our core team members.

Antonio is an executive coach, mentoring C-level executives at large multinational corporations, as well as a board advisor.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration for IMES University (São Paulo, Brazil), and a Coaching Degree from Erickson College (Vancouver, Canada).  He is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

From 2015 through 2018 he was a partner at the technology start-up Virtual Care, a company that provided remote technical support and managed cybersecurity to consumers and small businesses. Problems are an integral part of everyday life. So is problem-solving, but where people differ is in their ability to solve problems.

The quality of your decision depends in part of the quality of the data you have.

All of our projects are managed directly by our core team members, however, we do have many former teammates we have worked with over the years, so when a project requires that extra skill or experience, it's just a phone call away.
